STU

The mission of STU is to ensure fair, transparent and healthy working conditions for the entire staff of UNESCO, namely Professional staff, General Services staff, and temporary assistance staff, both at Headquarters and in the field.

Our action is based on collaboration. It relies on solidarity of the union members, of the Secretariat of STU, and of STU Council and Executive Bureau, to seize every opportunity to advocate for the reform of the Organization.

STU undertakes to keep its members informed of the rights and benefits of staff by making available publications and documentation, both in print and online.

In addition, STU proposes a range of social, cultural and recreational activities to help strengthen community spirit, to maintain the morale of everyone and to promote understanding among staff of UNESCO.
