In an institutional context continually evolving in UNESCO as well as within the United Nations system, I am asking you to renew your confidence in me, so that together we can continue to serve our Organization with dignity, keeping in mind the values and ethics presiding over the international civil service. We all have to create a UNESCO for tomorrow and our mission can grow only with our commitment and solidarity.
Re-elected on 15 March 2018 by the STU members for two years (April 2018 – March 2020), Violeta Aguiar is also member of the 11th STU Executive Bureau.
