In these times of major changes not only within UNESCO and their implications for general administration and staff, but also for the UN system and the International Civil Service as a whole, STU’s action is even more important. It is essential to foster the development of the international civil service in accordance with the principles set forth in the United Nations Charter. In order for the Secretariat to derive from this crucial moment the correct resources for hope and renewal, the STU defends staff rights and contributes to building a positive image of the international civil service.
Re-elected on 15 March 2018 by the STU members for two years (April 2018 – March 2020), Sandra Gallet is also member of the 11th STU Executive Bureau. |
