I am an Irish (Group 1) candidate at the Professional level.

I am a mature and experienced staff member with much experience within the UN system.

I am an honest broker with integrity, honesty and I am prepared to lead.

I have no career to defend, therefore all of my efforts and energy will be in defending the staff of our Organization.

I have the spirit and commitment along with relentless effort required to want to defend the interests of UNESCO personnel.

Whereas, I make no promises, I am ready to assess each and every case, whether it be SC contract, General Service contract or Professional staff issues, however, with a special priority for our Field Office Colleagues.

Elected on 23 March 2022 by the STU members for two years (April 2022 – March 2024), Mary Mone is also a member of the 15th STU Executive Bureau. On 31st March 2022, she is elected STU President for one year (April 2022 - March 2023).
